Thank you to everyone who came to the TownHall Meeting. We had a packed standing room only crowd. And it was very productive. We are super excited about all the wonderful projects in LA and your involvement in it. One of the key elements we spoke about was the involvement of additional Regional Coordinators. I promised to post the leadership criteria for everyone to read. In a couple weeks, we will post a call for recommendations for the Regional Coordinator positions. The Decom call for stages will go out in April, so look for an email but start taking to your camps now if you want to host one of the stages at Decom on October 13th. We are especially looking for more live music stages.

Four projects for 2012 are the CORE project and a LA Regional Overnight Camping event, plus a Southwest Regional Burn and LA Unified public school garden projects. Your involvement will be required for all these project to happen. Lets take that wonderful playa energies and direct it inward. Together we can create the default world into our world.

We have some phenomenally fun developments for our regional this year and cant wait to tell you about them; as I'm sure you too have something in the works for 2011, we cant wait to hear about it.
- 2012 Art Grants - 2012 Garden Project - 2012 CORE Project - are we doing this again? Bring your ideas. - Community classes - what classes would you like to see? What classes can you provide to the community? - Newbie Orientation - Regional Camp Out - we are looking for the perfect location. Bring your ideas please. These are but a few items on the Agenda. Please bring your ideas and thoughts to share.
At the end of the meeting we will have an ice cream social, so bring your own bowl and spoon and some toppings to share. And please bring your own water or beverage. |

MAIN SALE -- 40,000 TICKETS SOLD VIA RANDOM SELECTION JANUARY 2012 -- $240/$320/$390 + s/h -- LIMIT 2 PER PERSON AT ALL TIERS
- Participants will register for the Main Sale during a two-week period from January 9 (at 12 noon PST) until January 22 (at 11:59pm PST), 2012 on http://tickets.burningman.com.
- Entrants will need to provide a valid credit or debit card number at the time of registration.
- During the registration process you will need to select the highest price you are willing to pay for tickets. You may be awarded tickets at that price or at a lower tier.
- On or before February 1, a random selection will be conducted to award 40,000 tickets as follows:
- $240: 10,000 tickets
- $320: 15,000 tickets
- $390: 15,000 tickets
- If you are awarded tickets, your credit card will be charged for the total amount of your tickets at that time.
- All sales at all Tiers for the Main Sale are limit 2 per person.
- If you bought tickets in the Pre-Sale you are not eligible to buy tickets in the Main Sale.
- Those who are awarded tickets will receive notification on or by February 1 via email that their credit cards have been charged for their tickets and at which pricing tier.
- Any remaining tickets not claimed in the Main Sale will be moved into the allotment for the Secondary Open Sale.

LA Decom is October 1st at the LA State Historical Park (cornfield) in Downtown LA from 1pm to 2am. Got big art? A mutant vehicle? Interactive theme camp? Performance, crafting workshop, kids event, weird performance art thingy, parade? Bring it on!
